A. Information You Provide Directly

We collect information that you voluntarily provide, including: name, email address, phone number (if provided), account credentials, profile information, documents, stories, photos, audio recordings, executor and emergency contact information, preferences and account settings, and communications with customer support.

B. Financial Account Information (via Plaid)

If you choose to link a financial account, we use Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to facilitate the connection. You provide financial credentials directly to Plaid; Plaid transmits financial account information to us. We may receive account balances, transaction data, and account metadata. We do not receive or store your banking login credentials. Plaid's use of your information is governed by Plaid's Privacy Policy.

C. Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect IP address, device information, browser type, operating system, usage activity within the application, and log data. This information is used for security, analytics, and service improvement.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and operate the MyLifeSaved platform; enable secure financial account linking via Plaid; authenticate users and enforce access controls; maintain system security and prevent fraud; provide customer support; improve and enhance our services; and comply with legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
